"admiration"

...except that due to copyright reasons, the show can only be streamed in Windows Media Player, not downloaded as an MP3. Meaning that it's not actually a "podcast" at all.

Is this the broadcasting equivalent of the Beach Boys playing that nursing home in Leeds?

Other "podcasts" from the same site include:

Tony Blackburn - We Love The 70s!
"All your favourites are here, but what were the really big hits? Tony knows!"

Gary Crowley - That Was Then, This Is Now
"Gary Crowley plays a superb mix of his favourite tracks of the 80's and new material ..."

Terry Christian - We Love The 90s!
"Terry knows the music and the memories of the 90s better than anyone!"

...and Garry Bushell - Extreme Rock.

Someone should get WBS on this bandwagon. He'd get more buyers than Butters, right?

It basically sounds like "in-flight entertainment"

That Harry Chapin "W.O.L.D." song becomes more pertinent by the day, doesn't it?

I can't wait to hear Terry Christian display his unparalleled knowledge of the music and memories of the '90s...that'll be plenty of Future Bible Heroes, Lizard Music, LaBradford, Polygon Window and Sky Kicker, then.

William Swygart - We Love The UK Top 40!
"What's in? What's out? William knows! Expect strong opinions - and football! - from pop's newest and liveliest young pundit."

There would also be digresions of a culinary nature, unless he did it in a studio, cos studios rarely have the capabilities to make rost dinners.

elwisty (elwisty), Thursday, 14 April 2005 17:39 (twenty years ago)

roast dinner thou rost sounds exciting

elwisty (elwisty), Thursday, 14 April 2005 17:43 (twenty years ago)

Swygart's never cooked dinner for me when I've gone round his.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Thursday, 14 April 2005 17:48 (twenty years ago)
