I've been eyeing these three albums by Jedi Mind Tricks, Ariel Pink, and Orbital, respectively, but I know little to nothing about them. Are they good? Worth picking up?

Worn Copy is the best thing I've heard all year, although his concert tonight was the worst thing I've heard in my entire fucking life. I left after two songs.

holy shit poortheater. you were there too?
atrocious. i couldn't stand to be inside, as couldhalf the people there judging by the flow of people leaving. i was shocked how sloppy and bad they sounded. totally a dissapointment. but I'm glad to hear worn copy is so good. I was going to write it off from the show, but maybe I'll give it a chance

Not that I've heard the Blue Album but with Orbital I'd say start way back. Orbital I, Orbital II, and In Sides. Orbital II being absolutely epic.

The Blue Album is nice, but it's quite possibly their weakest album. Then again, most Orbital takes at least a year to fully sink in for me, so I may yet change my tune.
Initially, tho, it's great but relatively weak.

I think Doldrums is better than Worn Copy but I'm not sure yet.

Violent By Design is probably the only thing by JMT worth picking up. Incredible beats by Stoupe, great guests, Jus Allah was still in the group and Vinnie was still "Ikon The Verbal Hologram". The subject matter might be a little tiring but it just sounds so awesome. Get the album.
