got this today in work, turns out it's from last May. one of my favourite things I've bought in some time, sounds like a long lost track off one of the Eskimo comps, somewhere between disco and electronic stuff, I cannot wait to play this!

totally great. they have done good remixes for Lazyboy, Stratus and Bent - and one of the guys Pete Herbert also goes by the name Optimus. They are doing some new remixes for DFA right now.

The Reverso 68 remix of Manhead's "Doop" is really amazing, it could kickstart a balearic revival all by itself.

yeah it is kind of balearic, it has two versions which are both ace. I really love it when the "this sounds interesting" kneejerk last record you buy which you can't actually afford ends up being better than all the others. always happens too.

i peep in once in a while but usually keep my mouth shut, cause it gets me into trouble. but i do like reverso 68. they may remix the new Juan single, as well as some future stuff we are working on....and hello twitch. nice one in Miami! good party. will tell brother andy u say hey.

one year passes...
finally found a copy of this! was it a very small pressing or something?

the more recent 'tokyo disco' 12" on eskimo (spiritual home if ever there was one, as ronan sorta alludes to above) is also great great great. more love pls!

Yeah I'm totally loving both sides of "Tokyo Dawn". Even if the b-side blatantly steals some of the riffs from their remix of "Police Dogs Bonfire"! And the synths are a bit reminiscent of the Juan Maclean remix actually.

I love the absolute richness of this music, they have such an intimate understanding of the power of layering. I know it's been happening for ages, but this vague intersection of the lusher Lindstrom/Prins Thomas and the other Norweigians, Brennan Green, soft Justus Kohncke and Mungolian Jet Set... just feels really vibrant right now.

for those who missed out first time, this is awesome (esp. the terje mix).
