This weeks Pop-Eye - and you know what. I reckon this weeks top five (notwithstanding whether some of the tunes should ever be re-released) is damn fine.

Pity about The Chemical Brothers and the AllStars fouling yo the rest of the ten.

there does not appear to be anything we can officially arrest Mercury Rev for.

There's a byelaw in Chiswick wherein anyone caught recording a "A Man Needs a Maid" cover version/homage is forced to cover the high- street in straw and roll around in it for all to laugh and point at.

What was the rest of the Top5 when MSL last topped the chart then? One needs to check these hyberbolic utterances.

Your Song by Elton John was number seven. Of course back then MSL stayed at 1 for four weeks, but Mouldy Old Dough was in the top five for some of them having just been toppled (I think).
