my prediction, realizing that I forgot JD and Stevie (thought all three of his had already placed) the first time around:
12. Stevie - Innervisions11. Blondie - Parallel Lines10. Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks9. T. Rex - Electric Warrior8. Marvin Gaye - What's Going On?7. Sly & the Family Stone - There's a Riot Goin' On6. The Rolling Stones - Exile on Main Street5. Public Image Ltd. - Metal Box4. Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures3. The Clash - London Calling2. The Buzzcocks - Singles Going Steady1. Kraftwerk - Trans-Europe Express
also could place:
Pink Floyd - Wall, Dark SideBruce - Born to RunRoxy - Siren, Country LifeWho - Who's NextEno - Before & After
honestly though I have absolutely no clue what #1 will be.
And I really don't think Fripp & Eno have a shot.

How the hell did Electric Warrior not make it? I thought they were one of ILM's most beloved bands.
I'm also really surprised From Here to Eternity didn't make the list. Not that I was expecting it in the top 10, but I thought it would make the top 100 for sure.

Yes and no. All T. Rex songs are silly but their early work can be a little more stripped down and isn't so classic rock friendly in America. The most well known T Rex songs in America are the ones with big guitars like in Get It On.
John Peel was a huge T Rex fan and I remember reading him disliking Get It On.

Oh, of course not. In fact, if I voted for 50's albums it'd be mostly jazz and vocal stuff anyway. But rock and r&b would get the shaft, though.
