I don't know who started the trend of lavish riders, but it wasn't the Beatles, apparently. I mean, "Two (2) seven-passenger Cadillac limousines (air-conditioned if possible)!" Puts it all in perspective.

yes that's a great line. it's amazing how casually it's tossed in there. one of those details that happens to embody the strangeness of the era more vividly than, hell, a tape of a beatles performance.

i'm also shocked that they would use a HOUSE ENGINEER.

as if anyone who saw them live was ever going to hear a note they played anywa\y. they probably didn't need an engineer at all. they may not have even needed amps.

i love the air-conditioned "if possible" request. we require a bowlful of m&m's, with the brown ones removed -- if possible.
