I can't seem to find any. The guy was a crazy jazz fusion guitarist. Doesn't he have anything out there that's not Bad Brains or Soul Brains?

He played with Mos Def?

Lemonade Salesman (Eleventy-Twelve), Wednesday, 20 April 2005 15:05 (twenty years ago)

He's the guitarist on all the live band stuff on Mos Def's last album.

how is it? anything special?

Lemonade Salesman (Eleventy-Twelve), Wednesday, 20 April 2005 15:27 (twenty years ago)

I found it pretty disappointing, but I know people who were into it (Nickalish for one).

ten years pass...

Folks on Facebook are reporting that Dr. Know's health is bad and that he is very ill. No other details

the word is that he's on life support. this is one of the most important figures in the history of punk imo and one of the few whose work has not been diminished by the passing of time. just a hugely crucial figure in the development of rock music. hope he can pull through.

What happened, does anyone know? Obviously he was interviewed in that Dave Grohl then, he seemed fine then. And Bad Brains just opened up for the Foo Fighters a few months ago, didn't they?

Still no official statement.

In 2011 he was working by day at an organic food market near Woodstock,NY wonder if he's still up that way? Yes, he played with some of the Bad Brains as an opening act for the Foo Fighters just a little while back

He is, and friends of mine up there have also passed on the "no details, just PMA" message.

Though we still don't know why he was hospitalized, Bad Brains' legendary guitarist, Gary Miller—aka Dr. Know—is no longer on life support or in critical condition.

That was good news and hopefully there will be more

three months pass...

http://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/blogs/artsdesk/music/2016/03/10/after-nearly-dying-bad-brains-raising-funds-to-help-support-dr-know/

Miller suffered cardiac arrest and "his condition quickly progressed to multiple organ failure, and he was on life support for almost 2 weeks." It was so bad that doctors "gave him a 5 [percent] chance of survival." The good news is that Miller pulled through and is currently recovering in a rehabilitation facility. But after spending nearly three months in the hospital, Miller has racked up heavy medical bills, which the band has turned to GoFundMe for fans to help out:

HR's wife has now posted a fundraising thing for HR too. Being a Bad Brain took its tolls

Hey, Dave Grohl, put your money where your mouth is.
