I would say a minimoog is definatley there, sounds like a big
Moroder-type modular number in there as well - Roland System700m perhaps and some nice spacey effects going on as well.

This song was such a cornerstone in my life. Seeing this performed on Solid Gold with multiple exposure of Amii's freaky gaddup changed the way I "looked" at music on TV.
