For some reason I've just assumed you're talking about writers here, and not film or visual arts or theater MFAs. If so, there are loads of songs about writers, in kind of the same way there are loads of novels about painters.

Preferably both good and appropriate, but I'd take just the latter (they're going in a goodie bag; the party music will be MIA and the Free Design and maybe just the new Missy over and over). I'm putting a few songs that just say Master! Master! Master! for giggles, like the Fall's "Bingo Master"? And Gong's "Master Builder"?
But oh, that Jam song will work. And I should have been more specific--it's a writing MFA. Shows what I learned.
