two ILM classics with some heavy supporters.. i guess they're kind of different, but i felt a TS was justified.

Luomo, no contest.

Both have great moments, but personally I skip over chunks of "Vocalcity" whereas the greatest thing about "Immer" is the way it all hangs together as a whole - the sequencing and the intertextuality of all the tracks.

Best bits of vocalcity >>> Best bits of Immer
Whole of Immer >>>>> Whole of vocalcity

However Immer is more "of its time" I reckon. There are hardly any DJ mixes that stand out as timeless so that's not surprising, but Immer isn't nearly as exciting today as it was when it came out because so many of its tricks have become so familiar.

Also you really have to be "in the right mood" to put on Immer, but vocalcity is more widely applicable.

Um, yeah, Luomo it is then.

I'll take Herbert's Bodily Functions over either of them.. but they have their highlights.

Generally about equal with me, but if there had to be a tiebreaker it'd probably go to Vocalcity. Both albums demolish all other comers obv.
