man o man ... cherrystones drops another ten on me and i go straight to ebay to get the magik markers and gang gang dance albums. what can i expect?

and why hasnt anyone told me how GOOD slint are? just hearing them for the first time.

Saw Wooden Wand solo w/o the Vanishing Voice and it was great.
There is a new WWVV album on the Weird Forest label. Looks like

For bands like Wooden Wand, I never get a thing from the descriptions -- "the first sounds involved gurggling 'Cro-magnon' hemorages". I'm still deciding whether that is a good or bad thing. Are they folky like Jewelled Antler ish or heavy? I guess I'll have to purchase those Polyamory tapes, whatever is still in print, and find out for myself.
