You know the drill. Change of Heart, Torontonian rockers 80something to late 90s. Found a copy of Smile in a library now wondering a) Should I look for the rest of their albums b) Who owns the rights to Cargo releases these days?

And Blurtonia is a nono, at least in album form.

If you've got Smile you've got the best, I think....but you don't mention if you've got it for good or are just borrowing it. I'd say after that go for Tummysuckle and Steelteeth (the album's single, "It Should Be", is one of the best songs they ever did). If you have to return Smile, keep your eyes open for a copy. You can occasionally find it on CD, but it's still reasonably rare, because I don't think any of their work on Cargo is available at all, except used. Individual album reviews here/

Is this yet another known in Canada only band?

Sadly I have to return Smile by the end of the week. Which is why I wanna know when the inevitable Ryko reissue is going to happen.

There are pockets of people elsewhere that know of Change of Heart, but not enough. As far as I know there are no reissue plans, but you could possibly track down Ian at a show and beg him. Let me know how badly you want it, I can keep an eye out for it in the used bins.

I thought this was going to be about Cyndi Lauper.
