More importantly (to me anyway) is this--why, oh why, is Mike Jones so deadset on stressing the following point?

Back then, ho's didn't want me, now I'm hot, ho's all on me

is it because

a. He wants to prove to doubtful consumers how hot he is now?
b. He's trying to make a comment on the fickle nature of fane and fortune?
c. He's trying to appeal to one ho in particular, saying "look ho, maybe you didn't want me when I wasn't hot, but now that I am, best get on board"?
d. He ran out of ideas for lyrics to fill out his verse on "Still Tippin'"?
