"Rock and Roll All Nite" is one for me

Funnily enough, as huge a Kiss fan as I am, I've never been fond of "Rock and Roll All Night". I'd sooner cite "Shout it Out Loud" as a superior Kiss anthem..

Everything else on Dressed to Kill is waaaaaay better than "Rock and Roll All Night".

Agreed. But my love for R&RAN is all about the production and the spare..ness that makes it sound so punk rock when KISS is so very not punk rock. The song's actual arrangement and melody are insipid I guess. And the lyrics, well... (awesooooome)

The sound on Dressed to Kill always struck me as very bare-bones, garagey...and, I guess, Punk Rock.

Oh come now....you no likey "See No Evil"? "Venus"? "Friction"? "Prove It"? C'mon....I think with the exception of "Guiding Light", everything on this album is gold.

I'm down with Pinkerton's nominations.

Bump.

Is this 'a list albums each with a really good song'?
