I was reading an article on Perfect Sound Forever on Jimmy Page and his theft issues (http://www.perfectsoundforever.com/v/2005033/features/145) and they briefy touched on the chord progression from Chocolate Watch Band's "And She's Lonely" being taken by Page for Stairway to Heaven. I rushed to Soulseek to find the song and sure enough I found it. I thought it too far-fetched until I got to the final minute of the song, where it slows down and mimics the famous SWtH progression and even hints at the entire origin of the song with the end of the song "And She's Lonely!!!" being pretty close to the end of SWtH, both lyrically and musically. Was this Chocolate Watch Band album track (along with Spirit's Taurus) the basis for the most famous rock song of all-time?
