The part of the trailer where he realizes he's lost his hearing makes me want to curl into a ball with cotton stuffed in my ears.

I saw this trailer the other night and to be honest I couldn't figure out what the point of it was.

I just can't stand it. Its supposed to be uplifting i guess because he figures out how to feel vibrations and somehow becomes successful, but fuck that, he can't HEAR for the REST OF HIS LIFE. EVER. It is the most depressing thought and i promise to wear earplugs forever and ever. I had to stop the music I was listening to after I saw it.

?! awful name for a film, looks awful too.

it takes another shit brit-flick to make you realise that listening to dance music is gonna fuck up yr hearing???

Its not like I wasn't aware of that or something. What's scary is that they have the actor actually reenacting the moment a man loses his hearing and realizes that this has occurred!!! Incidently, its been getting good reviews, although I haven't seen it or anything.

The movie is a mockumentary comedy, from the Canadian guys who made "FUBAR." The trailer might be a little misleading, it's mostly supposed to be funny I think.

it's quite an hilarious film, actually, despite the way the trailer makes it look. we had a thread going here on it for a while... but my search function is really fucking slow today

Honestly it looks like it would be less disturbing in the context of the movie than the context of the trailer. In the trailer, the way they reenact perhaps my number one fear is just...haunting.
