I'm still puzzled that I've never seen Iggy, one of my all-time faves.

Kraftwerk. This is finally being rectified.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 5 May 2005 00:55 (twenty-one years ago)

I will be missing the Pixies when they come play at my college this summer. Shoot me.

Jessie the Monster (scarymonsterrr), Thursday, 5 May 2005 01:54 (twenty-one years ago)

Pixies
Nirvana
Alice in Chains

VegemiteGrrl (VegemiteGrrl), Thursday, 5 May 2005 02:42 (twenty-one years ago)

I really should have seen either Throwing Muses or Kristen Hersh solo. Haven't. It is inexplicable.

Also, Q And Not U.

I saw the Ramones' last gig in London. That was close.

James Brown. Still can't drag myself to see him even though he's playing in London in a couple of months. "He's bound to be completely shit now" always wins out over "for fuck's sake he's a living legend".

James Ball (James Ball), Thursday, 5 May 2005 13:38 (twenty-one years ago)

El Gran Combo

RS_LaRue (RSLaRue), Thursday, 5 May 2005 13:40 (twenty-one years ago)

Slayer
Iggy Pop (this saddens me most of all)

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Thursday, 5 May 2005 13:40 (twenty-one years ago)

I've seen James Brown 4 times now. His performance has diminished quite a bit over the years. But the best thing about his (post-1980) shows is his band. Is it safe to assume that's still the case?

peepee (peepee), Thursday, 5 May 2005 14:38 (twenty-one years ago)

i saw 2 yrs ago and the band was very "ehhh". i think the thrill is just the man. i saw a free show and got to sing happy birthday to james. and then left.

that was the show in battery park, yeah? i thot the band was ok.

hstencil (hstencil), Thursday, 5 May 2005 15:06 (twenty-one years ago)

I've never seen Iggy either!

On JB: it is true that he's far from top form at this stage, but the band is awfully tight, usually, and the show is a S*P*E*C*T*A*C*L*E.

Douglas (Douglas), Thursday, 5 May 2005 16:52 (twenty-one years ago)

Devo

ZionTrain, Thursday, 5 May 2005 19:11 (twenty-one years ago)

Dylan - though I'm afraid this would shatter multiple romantic ideals, so I think I've unconsciously dodged every opportunity.

New Fucking Order (aaaargh!)

Pubic Enemy, Sonic Youth, Spoon, REM, Metallica

Steve Gertz (sgertz), Thursday, 5 May 2005 19:39 (twenty-one years ago)
