So Solid Crew have numbers on their side - what with them being thirty and counting.

The Wu on the other hand have Ninja Skills and some of them are Sam- Ri Warr-Yawws - and are probably in much more of a position to get hold of automatic weaponry.

I don't see whats so great about So Solid Crew.

Michael Bourke, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Um......don't Wu Tang claim to have 300 members or something?

So Pete could be wrong.

Is ODB touring with Wu Tang this time around, should I see them live? cause it's kind of expensive.

he's in jail isnt he? or the madhouse.

flavour flav does a particularly uninspired job of replacing him on Iron Flag.

ODB is in jail, indeed. I love "Nigga Please." It nearly changed my opinion on Chris Rock. I nearly started liking him because of his contribution. Nearly.

Sorry... Americans HAVE NEVER and WILL NEVER get to hear SSC... So Wu Tang it is.

Andy, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Andy I beg to differ. That said, I think Wu-Tang wins hands-down. Even though SSC can actually rap, and their beats are arguably more "cutting edge" they are still about 6 or 7 years behind where Raekwon, Ghostface, Meth, GZA, and RZA are at lyrically.

Tracer Hand, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Wu tang is more fun.

Sterling Clover, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Sorry for "6 or 7 years" please read "10 or 11 years" since 36 Chambers came out around that long ago and ranges all over the map, macro and micro, compared to the SSC

Tracer Hand, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Wu Tang Clan. So Solid Crew don't even get close IMO.

Norman Phay, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Until So Solid earns their solo-album stripes, I'm going with the Wu. It'd be nice if they simply joined forces.
