wendy is still making music - i wish i bought the racine "grease monkey" dvd.

I had a copy of the album and the single sent to me. Surprisingly good, actually, although the most interesting track is "The Last American Hero" which is on the CD single, where she does a bizarre History of Racing commentary over some cut-up samples. Sounds a lot more at ease than she did with either T Vamp or E Costello.

i like the album. it has a nice laid back diy kinda groove.

hasn't she taken this out on the road yet .. when i spoke to her last year she had sorted out a live band (NYC based bunch of kids with techno toys - and dual drummers was mentioned!) and was hoping to do some gigs .. sure i saw something about it on playlouder/DiS recently ..

I think she's doing some London gigs this week actually. She's definitely on at the Cafe de Paris tomorrow night.
