it was really disorienting. towards the end of my treadmill i only caught paul heaton's voice which set off a wave of nostalgia. it took me a good few seconds for my surroundings to register. then i actually looked around to see what was going on. no one else seemed as confused as i. nearly sent me off the back of the treadmill!
