Sidenote: Back in my halcyon college radio days of yore, we used to have a feature called the "Audio Torture Chamber" in which we would play a given song over and over until someone called in and asked us to turn it off. The only song that got a call faster than "Hey Dad" was a Bathory song...

Hahaha, I figured since I was on the wrong thread, I'd at least try to contribute. So, I had this whole big Dinosaur Jr. thing typed out and was about to hit submit when something inside told me to take another look around, like when you cross the street. Sadly, the general purpose of the "Audio Torture Chamber" was to convince me that no-one wanted to hear my "odd" musical selections. My triumph was playing "Ballad of Ed Gein" by the Swamp Zombies until my Live/Pearl Jam loving co-DJ was forced to call in from the record library next door. After 5 repeat playthroughs. I can only assume that the student body had succumbed to some sort of trance-like acceptance of the beauty...
