Some Christian Emo Band.

They are purveyors of some form of "safe Christian emo" or some awful genre like that. I teach high school, and the Christian girls LOVE them--notebooks covered in "Relient K" scrawls taunt me from every other desk. I thought they must be some dips**t local band that toured churches until I saw the aforementioned MTV stuff.

Horrible, horrible, boring music.

They are Switchfoot for this year's middle America 8th-graders: ex-Christian rockers who are "edgy" enough to feel like mom and dad can't relate, yet still wholesome in an evangelical-minister's-kids-gone-kind-of-bad sort of way (although this time it's emo-pop-punk instead of post-grunge (or something?))

I remember there was one song that people tried to get me to listen to at GSP last year. Sadie Hawkins Dance, maybe? Whatever, it was basically a series of 80s references and an lol-oriented keyboard hook.

christian pop-punk band. my little sister was into 'em for a while aboout two years ago.

i guess now they're attempting to cross over into the mainstream so they'll be downplaying their christian-ness like POD, Switchfoot, and MXPX before them.

I have never heard this band, but I got my license in a K car. I pretty much killed the clutch figuring out how to start and stop.
