Dressed For The H-Bomb [mix]

I know. "This mix is like, sooooo, 2003." -- or, well, sooooo, almost three decades ago. It was requested by a friend of mine who wanted to gear up for the Gang Of Four show here a little over a month ago, hence... but, in case, there is some stuff here you never had a chance to hear that you always wanted to hear, here you go. It's an almost-80 minute mp3, around 110+ megs.. segues, mastering, all that. This is more of a "feet, arms, and ass displacement" mix, and not as much a "listening" mix as the June Gloom one.

I like the idea of it "ooking"...

"OOK OOK!" It's great reactionary disco punk onomatepioea... ("To Hell With Poverty" anyone?)

donut debonair (donut), Tuesday, 7 June 2005 16:49 (twenty years ago)

That looks fantastic, even though I've heard most of it.

These are great. It would be nice to include cue sheets for them...

Possible companion mix "dressed for WMDs"? I dont know who would listen to it though.

jmeister (jmeister), Tuesday, 7 June 2005 19:54 (twenty years ago)

The mp3 contains all the track listing and timing information in the comments section of the ID3 tag.

For some reason, I can't see this info in the Comments part on iTunes in Windows, but I can in winamp and dbPoweramp... *shrug*. Ironically, I used iTunes to prepare the comments and times!

donut debonair (donut), Tuesday, 7 June 2005 20:23 (twenty years ago)

I should say I used iTunes to write the comments in a separate text file. I wasn't allowed more than five lines in the comments section under iTunes.. however, I could paste this track listing, and probably the entire Bible in the ID3 tag under WinAmp... again, *shrug*
