I nominate:

Black Sabbath's first album about "my name is Lucifer, please take my hand"... (whatever it's called)

Followed by Venom's 12" "In League With Satan"

Follwoed by Slayer's "Altar of Sacrifice" (almost too much, but followed with...)

Motley Crue's "Shout At The Devil"...

What comes next?

if you really want broad appeal, you should go for The Cardigans a cappella cover of "Mr Crowley" instead of the Ozzy version. I'd also throw in some Louvin Bros. for good measure - "Satan's jeweled crown" is a good one, but anything from "Satan is real" would probably work.

PappaWheelie (PappaWheelie), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 21:04 (twenty years ago)

Also, Bruce Haack - Electric Lucifer

Of course. I bought my copy on a dubbed 8-track in an Atlantic City thrift store, and the tracks have all bled together like the most demented version of "Row Row Row Your Boat Across the River Styx" in the round. I can hear the rhythm of South Jersey.
