M Ward in Dublin last night. Song ID...

Great show but just a tiny thing has me all bothered. I could identify all the other songs but the last one he played has me stumped. It had lyrics along the line of finding the rope hanging from a tree that was his, or something equally merry.

Any clue? Anyone?

Also did anyone go to Buck 65? Why both on the same night? There is no justice in this world...

I went to Buck 65 but left before he actually came on because the support was really boring, the main act still had not started by 10.20pm, Whelan's was like a blast oven, and the place was full of people who had blagged in and were more interested in chatting than listening to music.

That's a let down anyway, I know a group of people that went and they were really excited but if the support act was boring you can hardly blame the crowd for chatting. Really late start though, I'd have probably left as well especially seeing as it was Whelans. That place is just too much be it heat, overcrowding, lack of facilities, whatever!

I saw the end of the M Ward gig, I was playing support at Whomadewho and Munk afterwards!

the only M.Ward song i can think of that mentions a rope is "Helicopter".

Come on everyone! Anyone got any ideas? It's definitely not Helicopter (fine song though it may be). Ronan, was that at Crawdaddy?
