tonight in philadelphia, there's an event, and the concept is:

"here is the deal: ANYONE can dj anythig they want for FIFTEEN minutes!

"24 people (who get there early enough to sign up for a spot) get to play dj for 15 minutes. play whatever you have always wanted to hear, or play whatever makes you dance around in your room."

so, the question is: what would you bring?

Thanks, Ned; I'll have my brother send that check out to you post haste.

My list: "Move Your Feet" - M D Emm, "Vengeance" - DMS, "Feed The World" - Fantasy UFO, The Goodmen - "Give It Up", Apotheosis - "O Fortuna". Alternately, I'd just throw on "Girls And Boys" by The Hed Boys and go hang out at the bar.

Surprised you didn't threaten to beat my ass given my last song choice.

"Waltzinblack" by the Stranglers, "Ignore the White Culture" by Missing Foundation, "Fast as a Shark" by Accept, "Loose" by the Stooges, "Shine On, Elizabeth" by Cop Shoot Cop, "Crowded Room" by XTC, "Rip Ride" by Venom, "Deuce" by Kiss, "Adaggio for Strings" by William Orbit, and "Wardance" by Killing Joke. And then I'd wipe the rancid fruit, spittle, phlegm and other projectiles off myself and leave the booth.

What's wrong with "Linus And Lucy"?

Dan Perry, Thursday, 31 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

HMMM. You're either being very disengenuous or you've missed something. I'll plump for the former. ;-)

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 31 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Lifter Puller, "Plymouth Rock"; Tata Young, "Rob Kuan Ma Rak Khan"; Cabaret Voltaire, "Eddie's Out"; The Stockholm Monsters, "How Korrupt Is Rough Trade?"

This probably goes over fifteen minutes but that is CV's fault.

Hand To Phone by Adult, Floating Away In A Hole Deeper Than You by I-F, and then The Chase by Georgio Moroder.

by the time the Moroder track was over, the girls would be throwing their panties at the DJ booth.
