lush microhouse, search and destroy

I don't think we'll need that destroy button, though.

I'm looking for more microhouse that's lush - off the top of my head, only Luomo and MRI really fit my definition. Kompakt has quite a bit of stuff with nice pads, but there are still too many sharp edges* and typically no warm cushion-y bass.

(*to fit my definition of lush)

Thoughts?

tylero (tylero), Thursday, 9 June 2005 22:57 (twenty years ago)

check D.Diggler too:

Something about the way he swings the drums on his productions really does it for me.

'Early Years' and 'Japan EP' on raum...musik are my 2 faves.

tylero (tylero), Thursday, 9 June 2005 22:59 (twenty years ago)

Right, Force Tracks. (smacks forehead) Hooray for being an idiot! You guys rock.

I really need to hear Isolee.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Thursday, 9 June 2005 23:25 (twenty years ago)

It reminds me a lot of earlier microhouse a la Hypercity - Forcetracks.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 10 June 2005 01:37 (twenty years ago)

I only heard the single but this is OTM.

But my answer to the thread's question is Herbert.

Tim Finney (Tim Finney), Friday, 10 June 2005 01:40 (twenty years ago)

C'mon, Ricardo Villalobos. It's like flossing yr ears with satin.

Ooh, Herbert was a good answer too.

Think i'm gonna have to say destory Dubtribe

oops (Oops), Friday, 10 June 2005 09:12 (twenty years ago)

house of 909 is kinda getting away from the microhouse radius, but pretty great nonetheless. I always liked that 'soul rebels' mix cd:

http://www.discogs.com/release/7833

Pagan Records released a ton of great stuff around that time period (97-99). What happened?

( the cd that made me wanna take up djing: http://www.discogs.com/release/75592 )
