Saw him Thursday with the Figgs and he was friggin' amazing. The new album, Songs of No Consequence is a return to form -- "Vanity Press," "Dislocated Life" and a few others sounds like classics. Anyone else heard it?

Jazzbo (jmcgaw), Saturday, 11 June 2005 15:08 (twenty years ago)

Amateur(ist) (Amateur(ist)), Saturday, 11 June 2005 15:17 (twenty years ago)

Then I stand corrected.

Jazzbo (jmcgaw), Saturday, 11 June 2005 15:57 (twenty years ago)

obviously, the first coolest rocker is Sting...but you already knew that.

bahtology, Saturday, 11 June 2005 17:04 (twenty years ago)

Tom Petty, Neil Young, hell... even Andy Summers is cooler than Sting.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Saturday, 11 June 2005 21:23 (twenty years ago)

lemmy can't possibly be the second coolest, as he is obviously the coolest. here's another candidate for second:

Iggy's veins frighten me.

Austin Still (Austin, Still), Saturday, 11 June 2005 21:40 (twenty years ago)

Lemmy is the coolest, Rob Halford is the second coolest, and Iggy Pop should rename himself Squiggly Pop.

in terms of looks/style:
1. Chrissie Hynde

Chaki OTM (once again). Keef's sartorial sense since c.1990 has never failed to impress me. St. Mark's Place T-shirt love mixed with a little "Idontgiveaf*ck".

Jay Vee (Manon_70), Sunday, 12 June 2005 22:05 (twenty years ago)
