i think kid606 has a new album coming out.

That's generally a safe bet for any given year, isn't it?

His recent 12" was awful; badly put together post-rock.

I once lied and told a kid606 fanatic that all the kids in the suburb listen to him at their parties.

he said "oh well, it was bound to happen" and looked really pained.

your use of the indefinite article 'a' implies there is more than one kid606 fanatic

If Venetian Snares cound as glitch, his album is awesome.

Great glitch-hop from Labwaste and Subtitle too.

And the more "noise" side of glitch, the Dino Felipe vs. Nick Forte album Shaggy Black on Soft Abuse is absolutely transcendent. I could get lost in that album for days. Those dudes know how to shape a sound like it was a ball of technicolor clay. Or something.

Also, the EVOL on Mego is glitchy in a comical, Spike Jones-meets-Merzbow way.

Oh fuck, these came out late, late last year, but it's worth owning:
-the Mego album with Yansonao Tone Vs. Hecker (totally glitchtastic stuttercore/musique concrete/skipping CDs)
-Otto Von Shirach (aggroglitch...grrr!~)

The Flashbulb album is pretty special...

The new Kid 606 is horrible. It sounds like Royksopp or something

I believe the album is called "Resilience."
