I used to think "Rhythm Divine" was alright until someone played me some recording of him trying to sing it live --- and failing spectacularly.

It had a nice video, if I remember correctly.

Enrigue put on one of the most affable live shows I've ever seen. He had this chill with the audience segment, where he just invited this extended family to hang out on a couch with him. That's where most acts would have stopped, but Enrique had a coffee table and a tailgating-style cooler filled with drinks, too. He busted out beers for himself and the others on the couch with him (at least, those over 21), and gave a soda to the little girl. Then he sat there for like ten minutes while they took pictures and he asked them questions and talked about growing up. Totally classic. Take that, Springsteen!

Dude, the episode of "Punk'd" featuring Nick Lachey where the little kid who wants Nick to make him famous starts singing "Hero" is totally classic, and probably the funniest moment on that show save for when they made JT cry.

So for that alone it is defensible

I was heartbroken that the follow-up album bombed and only had one video. It was a pretty great one though, with Enrique and some girl freaking out on opposite ends of a visiting room in a prison, guards trying to drag him away as he hurls a chair at the glass in a futile attempt to shatter that which keeps him from his partner in the greatest sex ever. A GUARD DOG BARKING IN SLOW MOTION. Gorgeous.

He also used to make out with hot audience members onstage. My cousin's friend was lucky enough to get his tongue in her mouth. Mick Jagger is Brandon Flowers compared to Kiki.
