If you accept the highly acceptable, that inner sleeves are the progeny of 78rpm sleeves, then inner sleeves actually have a longer lineage than record jackets themselves. They bore silkscreen record company logos and marketing info from the get-go -- who was the first artist to take control of their package?

Hey, you all . . . I don't want to argue about where they came from and who made them obsolete -- I just was to buy about 50 of them! Just plain brown sleeves with the hole in the middle! No sequins or sparkles on them, please!

we gots the white ones, and it'll run you about $6.50 or so for 50 of em. the only brown ones we gots are 10" sleeves. are you a 78 collector?
