I entered this thing this morning to impress my girlfriend. And now they phoned back and stressed how keen they were to interview me and that i look really good.

On the phone i had to talk about why i thought 'American Idiot' was important for the political atmosphere for a solid 5 minutes. It was really difficult.

I just thought they wouldn't email back and at the most my girlfriend would think it was cool i tried. Or something. Bizarre logic i know.

They kept going on about how much they like the way i look and told me to wear eyeliner. Then he goes "Now...don't get your hopes up but we're trying to arrange for you to meet the band".
