I was struck again earlier today by this song's appeal. I like the vocal style and the sentiment. How about you?

On Virginia radio station WTJU when I was growing up they had a PSA about child abuse with a very serious announcer talking about how serious child abuse was while this song played in the background. I actually requested the PSA once to make sure I wasn't dreaming, heh heh....

I like the strange breathy Teutonic (?) vocal delivery. And I like the idea that brats should be beaten, on.

It is true that this unexpected Ramones phase is new, though I have had and in a way liked the same tape for 13 years now.
