Why doesn't my Nevermind CD have "Endless, Nameless" on it?

isn't it supposed to be a hidden track? if so, it's hidden too well.

shookout (shookout), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 20:20 (twenty years ago)

It's hidden in the baby's bum.

David R. (popshots75`), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 20:22 (twenty years ago)

first round of pressings didn't have it. YOUR COPY IS "RARE"

The Sensational Sulk (sexyDancer), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 20:23 (twenty years ago)

The first 50,000 or so pressed don't have it, because the guy at the pressing plant left it off despite Kurt's orders.

The Brainwasher (Twilight), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 20:23 (twenty years ago)

The guy at the pressing plant had some sense, it appears.

JAS, Wednesday, 15 June 2005 20:28 (twenty years ago)

All hail the guy at the pressing plant!

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 20:30 (twenty years ago)

i like this song.

That One Guy (That One Guy), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 20:50 (twenty years ago)

Me too. Should I be happy that I have one of the first 50k?

Or pissed because I like "Endless, Nameless?"

Whiney G. Weingarten (whineyg), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 20:56 (twenty years ago)

Mine doesn't have it either, and I bought it in a Borders bookstore in 2003.

Curt1s St3ph3ns, Wednesday, 15 June 2005 21:00 (twenty years ago)

I got the "endless, nameless"-free edition back in the fall of 91, then "traded" for normal one with one of the unsuspecting new fans quickly crowding the freshman dorm.

The Sensational Sulk (sexyDancer), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 21:06 (twenty years ago)

Was always great to go into bars with nevermind in the CD jukebox and program the last song. ALways resulted in the bartender having to reset the jukebox figuring it was broken.

Brian Turner (btwfmu), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 21:13 (twenty years ago)

That doesn't seem very nice.

Mark (MarkR), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 21:14 (twenty years ago)

Depends on the bartender.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 21:16 (twenty years ago)

my copy doesn't have it either!

latebloomer: We kissy kiss in the rear view (latebloomer), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 21:41 (twenty years ago)

mine doesn't have it either, what the fuck.

reo, Wednesday, 15 June 2005 21:47 (twenty years ago)

can we mail our copies in and get "endless nameless" appended at the end and sent back? that would be rad.

latebloomer: We kissy kiss in the rear view (latebloomer), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 21:59 (twenty years ago)

"Endless Nameless" was a B-side on an import CD-single too if I'm not mistaken. (why is mainly why we know it's called "Endless Nameless")

(I had one of the first 50K or so, but sold it back to get "Endless Nameless".. yeah, I was 19. I was that desperate for having the "right" versions of everything.)

donut e-goo (donut), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 22:18 (twenty years ago)

You're correct - 'tis on the Come As You Are single.

Deluxe (Damian), Thursday, 16 June 2005 08:11 (twenty years ago)

So, stick it on e-bay and watch it fly...

mark grout (mark grout), Thursday, 16 June 2005 08:19 (twenty years ago)

Any road up, my copy of "In Utero" doesn't have "Gallons of rubb" either. It was a k-mart "waif you" with the remix of "PennyRoyal Tea"

six years pass...
