what would you call SAOSIN?
a coworker says its "indie rock". i intensely disagree, saying its much more in the mainstream pool of like, pop/punk/metalish/screamo stuff. sorta like Coheed and Cambria and all that lot. whatever it is, theres no way its "indie rock".

if youre not terribly familiar, heres a link for an mp3: im still breathing
i dont know what record that is from, as im not a fan of the band...just heard a few songs and got sucked into a discussion...

You are correct. Maybe they dress "indie" or something which causes the confusion?

Saosin is actually a really okay band with a lot of punpop and emo influences, but with a really melodic Beatles touch.

Also, some members apparantly play in Zolof The Rock And Roll Destroyer (I love that name), which is also a pretty decent band somewhat like The Anniversary.

But if you hate emo than I wouldn't suggest listening to either one.

the mp3 you put up is not saosin. Get your info right before you poast.

Saosin is a blend of all rocks which makes something called saocore.
