just wondering if anyone has an opinion on this release? is it similar to "brainfreeze"?
a bit more of a description rather than some witty,"it's garbage" quote would be appreciated ;)

yes its along the same lines as brainfreeze. its cc and shadow revisting their talent for mixing rare 45's from the 70's. i actually think its supirior to brainfreeze.

It is much like Brainfreeze, but there is a bit more beat juggling, scratching, etc, on this one. On the whole I think I like Brainfreeze better, mainly because I think there are a few weak points in the two tracks (unlike Brainfreeze, which is perfect from start to finish). That said, however, 85% of this release is excellent, particularly the "Strike Cola" and "It's the Real Thing" routines. Highly recommended. I would pick it up soon because it is limited to 6000.

Excellent. Opening early with the whole lotta love sample really gets you in the mood. I'd have to say that Brainfreeze is MARGINALLY better. Product placement is now available for sale on a widespread basis now. Got one for £13. There's also 2 cds out called Slurped and Slurped Too which contains all the full length versions of the most of the songs used Brainfreeze. Makes you realise just how good shadow and cut chemist are at blending songs together.

I like both but have only just managed to get hold of a burnt copy of Brainfreeze so my heart still lies with Product Placement at the moment, it's so fresh, I've seen PP on vinyl which would be nice, did they release BF on wax as well ?
