I'm watching this right now, it's so disorganized and amateurish, even for MuchMusic. The non-Canadian attendees are always bands who happen to be in town for a show and actors doing movies in Toronto. And all the women have their "evening" make-up on in the daylight and look really harsh.

I have it on but I'm not watching, just listening for The Arcade Fire. It definitely *sounds* amateurish!

Yay, they so rocked. Well, I've switched it off now.

Haha, yes, that slayed me...

Things were definitely more amateurish than in past years. I usually like the general insanity of the MMVA's but it really looked like none of the VJ's knew what the fuck was going on or what they were supposed to be saying. (regardless, I still prefer this "format" to the super-streamlined, micro-scripted style of almost every American awards show)

But almost all the performances were great, and Arcade Fire absolutely stole the show. #9 on the Much countdown!

Making the world a better place, step one: don't mention that segment ever again.

I'd like to know what MM's liquor costs were because everyone including that fifi dobson thing looked smashed.

I'd like to think that Moses would never have let this happen if he was still in charge.

every year i watch like 10 minutes of a rerun and then think "i should've blocked out my night to watch the whole thing and write about it, this is insane"

some dude, Friday, 6 July 2012 22:16 (thirteen years ago)

I know. I think this is the first showing in the UK which is odd as they seem to be plugging a lot of British people. I don't think anyone else is watching it.
