I think of it as more often to cash in on the fact that the song title is pretty much in people's minds...like a cheap way to stretch the advertising dollar.

These movies were probably made without the songs in mind (they are, after all, one word titles...)
The first two Urusei Yatsura movies (that's an anime show)were called "Only You" and "Beautiful Dreamer".
I thought I saw a movie for rent at Blockbuster called "Things Behind the Sun", but I may have read that wrong, because it's not on the imdb.
Does the 90's American-made "Godzilla" movie count, since it came after the Blue Oyster Cult song?
