Can anyone id this (presumably old) 808-tastic track from the legendary Autechre webcast?

I listened. I don't know it..sorry.

(but it's a 909, not an 808, providing the beats)

Don't know but it's not unlike one of their own tracks off of EP7 called Zeiss Contarex

this caught my ear during the webcast, too. i don't know what it is unfortunately. whatever it is, it is one hell of a drum machine work out though. i'll take a guess and say that it is early 90s UK in origin. i used to make tracks like this back then. roland r-8 + alesis mmt-8 + ensoniq mirage + a beat-to-fuck sequential circuits synth (which is where the wind sound in this track comes from).

Actually Autechre oughta start experimenting with more organic noise as well as bringing backt he pretty melodies. They've done enough arrhythmic drumming for now.
