Well, what about them? Anything? The "Rockers to Rockers" Lp, is it any good? I like "Push Push".

I can only remember a cringingly dire rap entitled What a Life from the album. The rest of it was probably OK, though...

Er.. or am I confusing early 90s ambient band Original Rockers (who were forced to change their name to Rockers Hi Fi or something equally silly) with the people who perahps forced their name change?

Seems unlikely, really. It's a stupid name (a cool one tho), the original rockers were most likely (given the 90s British ones were REGGAEISH) Augustus Pablo's label and buds, but um, I still like that song. And they did the track for a great Saint Etienne song, or something.

I have a fantastic album by More Rockers from the early 90s thatg I thibk is related. Its called Dub Plate Selection and great dubby jungle stuff. Actually one of my favourite jungle albums.

the first "Rockers Hi-Fi" album is great. I love nearly every song on it but the second is spotty. I highly recommend the first album. Don't look for it under Original Rockers, even though Push Push was initially released under that title.

Former members of Electribe 101, if I am not mistaken. Also known as Groove Corporation. Did a great track called "The Undersea World of Jah Cousteau" which appeared on the second Ambient Dub compilation released by Beyond Records. It incorporates a Scientist track, I think.

Paul C is correct. Undersea..Cousteau also appears on the cd single for Push Push.

Rockers HiFi are Richard Whittingham (Birmingham's old school DJ Dick) and Glyn Bush. I think they did a dj kicks which was ok.
