Steal cage scaffold death match.

How can you have a scaffold cage death match? A cage is suspended 30 foot in the air, you have to throw your opponent out of the door, then hope he doesn't stand up within a ten second time limit?

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Wednesday, 22 June 2005 13:24 (twenty years ago)

Well I wouldn't imagine he'd be in a particularly good position to be able to to stand up within a ten second time limit if he was dead....

I'm voting for Tie A Yellow Ribbon anyway.

if a guy is depressed enough to throw himself off of a tower, who knows what he would do to tony and dawn if the stakes were raised? also, gilbert's loyalty to his mother says something of his chivalrous and combative nature. gilbert wins.

"now the whole damned bus is cheering..."

"Alone Again Naturally" is absolutely genius, certainly a classic. There is no way "Tie a Yellow Ribbon.." could possibly beat that.

B-b-b-but they share chord progressions. And Alone Again is overly depressed, while not being believable. Yellow Ribbon has prisoners cheering on a bus over a yellow ribbon!

Which chord progression? "Alone Again Naturally" has numerous different ones throughout.

Geir Hongro (GeirHong), Wednesday, 22 June 2005 19:50 (twenty years ago)

They both stink like a dirty sockfull of moldy cheese, but "Tie a Yellow Ribbon" is much much worse. It's worse even WITHOUT considering how this gobbet of shite has been turned into some sort of patriotic jingle.

eight years pass...

interesting....obviously the biz markie/gilbert o'sullivan lawsuit changed hip hop and sampling forever

but i didn't know that biz wasn't the first to pick up on "alone again (naturally)"...check out the Cold Crush Brothers harmonizing to to the tune of alone again at the Harlem World in 81
