Yeah, I thought that was Amon Duul II!

It's a WEIRD movie. Clearly made under the influence of LSD. Very bizarre pacing.

It's about religion (obvious jesus figure) and Marxism. There are women dancing with bloody faces for no reason. There is lots of singing. There is an old deaf/bedridden guy. There's a really fey looking "medieval shepherd." Some of the costomes/setting = modern, and some is archaic.

I don't know if I liked it or not. Sometimes it was very beautifully shot.

Also, the Amon Duul II appearance is a music video inserted into the film for no narrative reason that I can discern.

Apparently it was pressed as a German LP in 1970. I forget the label. Popsike and eBay are no help.
