I once found a vinyl copy (I guess it's not been re-released on CD?) of this for a girl (huge Stevie/Fleetwood Mac fan obv.) who also desperately wanted it, by pure chance, way out in Ancoats when I was at Uni.

I think she paid £30 for it too.

Still, I got NO LOVE :-(

fandango (fandango), Thursday, 23 June 2005 21:13 (twenty years ago)

I was about to say about Whipped Cream & Other Delights, that album is in the bargain bin box of every flea market I've been to in the last ten years.

Pleasant Plains /// (Pleasant Plains ///), Thursday, 23 June 2005 21:48 (twenty years ago)

I'm pretty sure PW was making a joke as to its ubiquity.

nickn (nickn), Thursday, 23 June 2005 22:02 (twenty years ago)

Ah, ok, gotcha.

righteousmaelstrom (righteousmaelstrom), Thursday, 23 June 2005 22:05 (twenty years ago)

Surely REM's "Monster" would have been the best joke for this thread.

reo, Thursday, 23 June 2005 23:31 (twenty years ago)

There was a reissue of 20/20 Music that came out a couple of years ago. Shouldn't be THAT hard to find. Ditto for Buckingham Nicks, which I nabbed at the WFMU record fair about a year ago for I think $6.

Dan Selzer (Dan Selzer), Friday, 24 June 2005 05:42 (twenty years ago)

There's virtually nothing I can't find, it's just a question of whether I want to pay lots.

Apart from Shark Vegas - You Hurt Me 12" (Factory). I can't find that!

Peer Raben's soundtrack for "Die Niklashauser Fart." German LP. Failing that, the 2LP compilation on Cinedisc (1970; Cinedisc 690005/6) featuring some of the music from the movie.

Ian John50n (orion), Friday, 24 June 2005 16:14 (twenty years ago)

Ubiquity? Roy Ayers?

Actually, I just sold my copy of Boogiemonsters. I'm not so sure it aged well...
