Mix help?

Ok, looking for a jazz track to toss into a multi-genre mix.
What I'm looking for: Something like Larry Miller's Khalid of Space. Big, psychedelic, freak-out with ensemble and heavy drumming. Has to be able to stand up to rock and hip hop, so gang choruses with horn walls are good. Not too much emphasis on swing, more on exploration.
Caveats: Has to be able to fit on the mix, which means no longer than 8:30. Can't be Larry Miller or Joe McPhee (used 'em both on the last mix to the same people). I'm having a hard time getting skronk jazz (Archie Shepp) to fit with mix, as he tends to blare through his themes too quickly, and I'd prefer something with a little more structure. Trying to find something with a little bit of a richer sound than the Vandermark/Brotzman clean, cerebral free jazz.
Even if it doesn't fit on the mix, give me some ideas about where to look (for my own edification). Much appreciated.
