so this caused all the trouble on the John Peel stage at G yesterday. Ryan was supposed to headline, but pulled out, subsequently the time schedule was juggled around .. meaning a lot of people who were expecting LCD Soundsystem @ 19:40 were then met with the appearance of Client, the mass exodus and vocal negativity was a hard thing endure i suspect.

sorry, but i did a runner froim the john peel tent as soon as LCD ended. conor's groove is not for me so i cant comment/confirm. (due to ILM pressure i decided to check out the Basement Jaxx set - still not sure if like em !)

BTW - the whole Big Moment thing didn't happen in the Peel tent you know. this hasn't been mentioned anywhere else as far as i can see. instead the old longhair who compered the tent over the weekend, advised that Peel wouldn't approve of such hippy rubbish (or sommat like that), and then urged the crowd to do something useful - like stop buying nescafe instead.
