The Game - 300 bars and running

What do people think of the game's epic diss track? I'm an avowed game hater, and I kinda like it. You shouldn't need eighteen minutes to diss G-Unit (the jada track is way better as a diss track) but it gets pretty good around the tweleve minute mark, when he starts imitating kanye and brooklyn's finest. and the beats are great, obviously.

I think it's incredible. Anyone willing to go for 300 bars at a time gets my respect. When you gonna see 50 do that? The whole G-Unit clique couldn't do a 300 bar track.

I can you send it, should anyone want it.

While they're lazy and have fallen off, i'm sure 50 and Banks could spit 300 bars. People forget the first, unreleased 50 album and all his mixtapes. People also forget that Lloyd Banks was the bastard child of Big L and Jadakiss spittin' pure comedy before he ran out of punchlines and 50 made him switch his voice up and start mumbling too.

Anyway, "300 bars". It's pretty good, although the actual disses could be stronger.

Make fun of 50's crooked toofs or how he looks like a chimp or how Lloyd Banks looks like he's mildly retarded. Let's get these guys really snapping on each other.

My god. The Game needs to just teach a history of rap/rap theory class in college. Seriously, this was incredible.

Speakers (David Allen), Tuesday, 28 June 2005 13:49 (twenty years ago)

"rap theory"?

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 28 June 2005 13:56 (twenty years ago)

"In theory, rap is popular!"

David R. (popshots75`), Tuesday, 28 June 2005 13:59 (twenty years ago)

OK, so this comment:

"Game has a nose that can suck golf ball through a water hose!"

What's w/ the hose? Just cut out the middle man & suck the ball straight up!

David R. (popshots75`), Tuesday, 28 June 2005 14:01 (twenty years ago)

yes but dave, just as its harder to suck chrome off a bumper than straight out the melter, its harder to suck a golf ball through a rubber hose than, say, off the pavement. the game wants you to know about his mad snorting skills. the jury's out on how well he sucks, at least until 50 responds.

The Game needs to just teach a history of rap/rap theory class in college.

And then he could stop rapping! Everybody wins!

Sym Sym (sym), Tuesday, 28 June 2005 21:12 (twenty years ago)

The Game is such a kooky little nut.

miccio (miccio), Tuesday, 28 June 2005 21:27 (twenty years ago)

I'm starting to wonder if he's the Oasis of rap.

miccio (miccio), Tuesday, 28 June 2005 21:42 (twenty years ago)

OMG YES

Sym Sym (sym), Tuesday, 28 June 2005 21:43 (twenty years ago)

haha or at least the Liam Gallagher (don't see a "Wonderwall" anytime soon)

miccio (miccio), Tuesday, 28 June 2005 21:45 (twenty years ago)

I heard it on Hot 97 (hiphop station in NY) a few weeks ago. They played the whole thing. As an excercise in ...something...it was pretty incredible.

cicatrix, Tuesday, 28 June 2005 21:47 (twenty years ago)

I thought Game and 50 kissed and made up?

Stuh-du-du-du-du-du-du-denka (jingleberries), Tuesday, 28 June 2005 23:14 (twenty years ago)

The Mike Jones bit made me roffle.

whatta maroon

miccio (miccio), Tuesday, 28 June 2005 23:34 (twenty years ago)

Wait, Hot 97 played it a few weeks ago? Power 106 in LA only started playing it a few DAYS ago, a week, max. That sucks!

Anyway, the beats create a lot more excitement than Game's rapping on this.
