man I was listening to "Apathy 83" and thinking, this is a great song! sounds like something off of Desire, and doing some looking I found this review by Dave Marsh from Rolling Stone, saying that "Apathy 83" is about the Rolling Thunder tour. So good job, Hunter!
btw, Marsh writes in that review, "With Bruce Springsteen, Roxy Music, Don Harrison and maybe Rod Stewart, he stands up and embodies rock & roll history". Who is Don Harrison?

I don't think so---that Donald Harrison is 47, acc. to the article, which would have made him 13 years old in 1976 (when that review was written).

I love this record. Its not quite as good as ...Schizophrenic, but its really good. Nice heavy/mellow contrasts.
