its beutiful verging on pretty , i dont understand why Daddino , usually such an erudite critic doesnt get it

Oh, I "get" it, I suppose. They're OK. I just that I find his electronic/tapey things more fun to listen to. SAme with Nancarrow's player-piano explorations.

If you like the prepared-piano pieces, you might give gamelan music a try.

So which recordings are your favourites since there are several? And, what, in yr opinion, would be a successful interpretation of this piece (i.e. what would the role of silence bring)?

ps. I ask since I want to buy a recording(s) of this.
