Cub = Canadian girl pop-punk trio from late 1990's. Released the album "Box of Hair" (Pillow Queen and Magic 8-Ball are my faves) which was good! and lots of singles and I think another before that...they also have an oddities collection on Augogo, which features "New York City" their best song I think. They split up and formed Buck and I am Spoonbender.

I've really got a low tolerance for musical infantalia (though not the electronic strain eg. BOC and friends). Even the childlike vocals on Piano Magic's "Wrong French" try my patience.
