...and I am not sure what to say except I am glad to have found a place where you (probably) will not think it's stupid of me to care that my remixes are labeled properly, to agonize over issues like 'folk vs singer/songwriter,' or to label my files by "Lastname, Firstname" or "GroupName (The)."

fandango, those are SO my people. They understand! They care! It's truly heartening. Only problem I have is Audioscrobbler doesn't have a plug-in for my particular media program (MusicMatch Jukebox) and I've found all the meta info I've input through MMJB doesn't translate well to other players. Which makes me wonder if perhaps the adaptability of different players to tag details has ever been a topic here.
